Freelance photographer & writer Nicole Barker is based in Portland, Oregon, but she frequently entertains - and sometimes even executes - excursions to far corners of the earth.
Nicole started her career in newspaper photojournalism, and while she frequently misses it, she now enjoys having time to surf, kayak, play soccer and bake delicious cookies.
Having lived and traveled abroad, she is especially interested in international health and development.
